UTokyo IPC President & CEO Kosuke Ueda and 1stRound Director Hideki Nagasaka Appointed as “Ambassadors for Entrepreneurship Promotion” by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT)

UTokyo IPC, Inc. (Headquarters: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Kosuke Ueda) is pleased to announce that President & CEO Kosuke Ueda and 1stRound Director Hideki Nagasaka have been appointed as “Ambassadors for Entrepreneurship Promotion” by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT).

About the Ambassadors for Entrepreneurship Promotion

The initiative is part of the Japanese government’s Five-Year Startup Development Plan, implemented by MEXT to foster entrepreneurial mindset and education among elementary, junior high, and senior high school students.

Appointed ambassadors, including experts and business leaders, are expected to share their experiences at nationwide events and in educational settings, encouraging our younger generation to view entrepreneurship and new challenges as accessible, and empowering them to take proactive steps toward realizing their ideas.

With this appointment, both Ueda and Nagasaka will contribute to nurturing the next generation of innovators by leveraging their experience and networks through lectures at schools and participation in educational events.
