Dr. Gavin Kuziel, PhD, is a Venture Partner at UTokyo Innovation Platform Co., Ltd. He began working with UTokyo IPC in October 2022, and is based in Boston, Massachusetts. Gavin is focused on identifying opportunities for scientific collaboration between Boston and Tokyo. Gavin received his PhD in Chemical Biology from Harvard University where he studied molecular mechanisms of diet-microbiome-host interaction in gastrointestinal disease (food allergy, colitis, and infection), and a BS in Chemistry from the University of Tokyo where he developed molecular glues for therapeutically relevant protein-protein interactions in the laboratory of Professor Hiroaki Suga.
